About the Museum:

The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum (CATPM) is the only museum solely dedicated to preserving the history of WWII air force training. Witness the complexity of these aircraft first hand as volunteers work to restore rare training aircrafts. The CATPM pays tribute to this enormous undertaking and the 18,039 R.C.A.F. personnel who lost their lives while serving during the Second World War. Canada's British Commonwealth Air Training Plan was called by Winston Churchill "our greatest contribution to allied victory in WWII." At the height of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan there were 231 training bases across this country and it was the largest infrastructure program in Canadian history.
