  • The Charleswood Historical Society presents the 7th of its 2018-2019 Heritage Lecture Series. Linda McDowell will speak on "Forgotten Angels: Nurses of the 1918 Flu". In 1918, the deadliest pandemic in history infected 500 million people worldwide, about 1/3 of the planet’s population, and killed an estimated 20 million to 50 million victims. 
    This lecture casts a light on those who gave care to them.
    The lecture will take place Monday, Mar.4th, 2019 at 7:00 pm., 5006 Roblin Blvd.
  • ( Charleswood Seniors 55 Plus Centre). Additional parking can be found at the back of the building, just off Harstone Rd. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served. Silver collection. Wheelchair accessible.
