About the Museum:

Stonewall came into being as an industrial town with a multinational workforce who toiled twelve hours a day, seven days a week in the limestone quarries. For decades limestone was quarried and processed into lime. The quarries are closed now and the abandoned kiln stand at the north end of Main Street as a silent reminder of the past. The area surrounding the kilns is now a park with walking trails and the Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre.

The Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre is dedicated to telling the story of our quarry.
