About the Museum:

The Foxwarren Hisstorical Society was established in 1997 and is largely dedicated to telling the story of the day-to-day life of pioneer women. Our displays are arranged in the style of a pioneer home with a kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom.

Our museum building was the former (1906) St. George's Anglican Church and an area at the front of the building is dedicated to maintaining the artifacts and history of that church.

In recent years, artifacts have been added that reflect the early days of our small town, from a time when Foxwarren was a much more bustling business centre.

Our outside grounds include the Foxwarren Memory Garden, a green space that covers one square block and pays tribute to previous local businesses and organizations. The area includes a long and winding walkway, marked by over 800 man-made memory stones commemorating former residents.
