About the Museum:

Miami Railway Station is a National Historic site and a Municipal Heritage site. The building, built in 1889, is a rare example of a Canadian Northern Railway The interior reflects the role of the station agent in rural prairie communities. Recently the museum acquired a 1914 wooden CPR caboose which is being restored, several motorcars, a crew car and other railway artifacts. In addition 200 feet of railway track has been added to the south side of the platform, where motorcars will be displayed.
