WWI violin made from chair seat & bed leg by Brandon internment camp detainee Prisoner of War Violin
This violin was handmade from wood from the seat of a chair and the leg of a bed by Brandon internment camp detainee John Melnick (POW #457), a prisoner of war in 1915.
We know what was used to make the violin because the materials used in its construction is written inside the violin.
