About the Museum:

Grant's Old Mill is a working replica of the first water-powered grist mill in western Canada. It was originally built by Cuthbert Grant who was a Metis leader, Warden of the Plains, Justice of the Peace, Captain of the Buffalo Hunt, and a Sheriff of Assiniboia.

Museum Events:

Cuthbert Grant Day - second Saturday of July highlighting Cuthbert Grant and his contribution to Manitoba heritage as well as the Metis contribution. Includes flour milling, BBQ, music, entertainment, and displays.
