AMM Mission and Vision Statements

MISSION STATEMENT

The Association of Manitoba Museums will strive to become the primary museum related service organization in Manitoba providing innovative training, advocacy, resources and responsive leadership to a diverse and growing membership. It will promote Manitoba museums in the wider community from a secure financial base.

VISION STATEMENT

The Association of Manitoba Museums, as the voice of our museum community, is dedicated to promoting excellence in preserving and presenting the cultural and natural heritage of Manitoba.

The Association of Manitoba Museums is a Registered Charity. You can access the information we have filed with the Canadian Charities Directorate.

The Association of Manitoba Museums acknowledges that we are on Treaty 1 territory and the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
