About the Museum:

Mennonite Heritage Village (Canada) Inc. focuses on commemorating individuals and events in Russian Mennonite history from 1525 to present. Some of the main features include: early homes, house-barns, blacksmith shop, general store, churches, schools, windmill, and a tractor and transportation exhibit. Mennonite Heritage Village also rents its unique facilities to the general public for: weddings/wedding photos, family photos, nature photography, conferences, meetings, concerts, etc. Call for more information.

Leaving Canada - Spring Gala Fundraiser - June 4th, 5:00pm

On June 4th, experience an evening of live music, delicious food, and the unveiling of our newest exhibit, “Leaving Canada: The Mennonite Migration to Mexico”. This fundraising event and associated donations will go towards the renovation of the Chortitz Housebarn. The exhibit opens at 5pm, dinner to follow at 6pm. Tickets are partially receiptible.
