About the Museum:

Mennonite Heritage Village (Canada) Inc. focuses on commemorating individuals and events in Russian Mennonite history from 1525 to present. Some of the main features include: early homes, house-barns, blacksmith shop, general store, churches, schools, windmill, and a tractor and transportation exhibit. Mennonite Heritage Village also rents its unique facilities to the general public for: weddings/wedding photos, family photos, nature photography, conferences, meetings, concerts, etc. Call for more information.

Museum Events:

September 30 - National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
MHV will be open on National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. There will be free admission and handouts for a self-guided reconciling history walking tour. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the Dirk Willems Peace Garden and take time to reflect and pray for the healing for our nation throughout the day.
 
October 3 - Outdoor Village Closed
Our outdoor village buildlings will be closed as of October 3. Out indoor exhibits as well as outdoor grounds remain open for visitors. For seasonal hours and admission rates, click here
