About the Museum:

The house section of our Museum is a Municipal Designated Heritage Building and depicts how a family lived in the Victorian Era and three annexes are the home to a large selection of artifacts depicting our local culture and heritage of our local community.   We have a very large collection of photographs and albums that also depict our local heritage; displays include a school display, an actual small Post Office display; collection of antique hand tools; collection of farming artifacts & modes of transportation including Democrat buggy and sleighs plus many other items too numerous to mention.  We also have a nice Military Display including uniforms and military records documenting our local war veterans and those listed on our Cenotaph.  The main floor of our Museum and annexes are wheelchair accessible but not the upper floor of the main house.  Currently we are NOT OPEN to the Public due to Covid-19 restrictions that are in place at this time.
