AMM Library

The AMM has a lending library with books on everything you need to know to run, or even start your own museum. There are books to help you with your paperwork, collections management, exhibitions, writing text, lighting, as well as CCI Notes and publications from various organizations.

Members have free access to the AMM’s resource library and the City of Winnipeg Museums Board library. Access to the library must be arranged in advance.

Here is a list of the books we currently have in our library:

The Association of Manitoba Museums acknowledges that we are on Treaty 1 territory and the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis

We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
