About the Museum:

Built over 140 years ago in 1881 the Courier building in Crystal City houses an outstanding collection of the original printing machinery, all still working!

The Rock Lake Herald began publishing in this very building on Sept 1st, 1881 with Thomas Greenway, the founder of Crystal City (and later the 7th premier of Manitoba) as publisher.

Experience the smells of oil and ink, and see and hear the printing presses and typesetters as they operate; listen to the story of printing and help volunteer printers create type, posters, cards and more. Take home a memento of your visit.

Naturally, such fun takes preparation! Please e-mail us at ccprintingmuseum@gmail.com or call 204-873-2591 to arrange your working tour. Visit www.crystalcitymb.ca for more info.
