Sponsor an Event
The Association of Manitoba Museums holds a conference every year in the fall.
These conferences are designed to be an opportunity for our members to share, learn and get together with their counterparts from around the province.
The conference site changes every year, alternating between urban and rural locations.
Twice a year the AMM has an auction to raise money for our programs. The auctions are held in the fall as part of our Annual Conference, and in spring in conjunction with our Trivia Night.
If you would like to support the AMM and museums across Manitoba you can donate items for the auctions. All proceeds support the AMM’s Professional Development program. Charitable receipts are available.
Please contact the AMM office if you'd like to donate something for one of our auctions.
Take part in our tradeshow and have the opportunity to meet and connect with staff and volunteers in the museum community from across the province, along with representatives from neighbouring provinces.
Why become a sponsor of an AMM Conference?
The conference regularly attracts staff, volunteers and board members who work in museums across Manitoba, as well as representatives from Saskatchewan and Ontario institutions.
The delegates attending our conference represent community museums, heritage centres, historic buildings, cultural centres, history, science and nature museums, art galleries and historic societies – all non-profit organizations.
By becoming a sponsor you will increase your organization’s visibility and profile within Manitoba’s cultural community.
Your participation will identify your company or organization as a supporter of museums in Manitoba, and the work that they do to preserve and promote the province’s heritage.

Trivia Night is one of the AMM’s major fundraisers. It’s an absolute blast, and all the funds raised go back into training, advocacy, and support for the museum community here in Manitoba!
For more information about these opportunities please phone the AMM office at 1-204-947-1782, or email us.
