Liason
The AMM is a collective voice for Manitoba's museum community. As a liaison, the Association represents the views and concerns of its members to the provincial and federal governments.
The Association of Manitoba Museums acknowledges that we are on Treaty 1 territory and the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Metis
We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
